What a busy agenda, and thanks to those who work so hard. Issues seem to arise when the additional new lobby flooring, lobby wall paint color change (then what was voted on) and new costly security systems are decided on by board members without homeowner's input and when we're constantly over budget, as it is. Furthermore how much were the lobby paintings and where's that vote or purchase mentioned in the minutes? I suppose it can get tedious describing each budget expense, but it seems that the perks of moving ahead pet projects by certain board members is their reward for the volunteerism. It also seems very disrespectful to spend other peoples money without their consent.

I'd like to propose, again, that we differ the time/day of the Board Meetings. I leave for work by 5 most Monday evenings and would like to attend. My mother's health prohibits her from going.

From the BoardThe discussions and actions of the Board of Directors at the monthly board meetings are recorded by the Property Manager and are documented in the Monthly Meeting Minutes. The Minutes are typed in draft and distributed to the board members for review and corrections. They are then approved at the next monthly board meeting and mailed to the homeowners. Approved Minutes are kept in the on-site file room. |
