Board Meeting Highlites, 18 July 2011
Last night's board meeting was attended by 10 homeowners.
Mary Lee Coe, from the Homeowners Financial Committee, reported
that we could save almost $2000 a year if we substituted one large recycling bin
for the nine small containers we have now. The board approved that proposal and
it will be implemented as soon as possible.
The board president reported on the results of the Homeowners
Earthquake Insurance Survey. 30 homeowners responded, with 20 supporting the
continuation of earthquake insurance and 10 wanting to cancel it. The board then
voted to continue having earthquake insurance coverage. It was pointed out that
the funds to buy the earthquake insurance were already in the 2011
budget.
